I have very sensitive skin and rarely like to try new products as I usually end up breaking out. However, this product was the complete opposite. After more than necessary patch tests for fear of a break out, I started using this retinol all over my face and I was truly amazed.
In the mornings following use, my face was sooo soft and nice to touch. No grease, no breakouts. I will definitely be adding this to my nightly routine!
I’ve been using the Perouse retinol serum for a little while now and honestly love it. The texture is super smooth and lightweight, the smell is really nice (not overpowering at all), and most importantly it doesn’t tingle or irritate my skin — which is rare for me with retinol. It layers well and feels gentle but effective. Definitely one of the more comfortable retinol serums I’ve tried :)
I notice much better skin texture in the weeks after using it consistently and my skin feels smoother and less pigmented. The scent is lovely and the texture is just perfect for spreading and doesn’t leave any residue!
I have sensitive skin so it was important to find a retinol that didn’t break me out. I have tried TONS of retinol (the ordinary, and nearly retinol brand in Mecca!) this one didn’t break me out! I am using it for wrinkle prevention as I’’m in my 30s and retinol is backed by science for it. I also had no problem with layering it.
There is one thing to note:
They use a natural fragrance, so it’s clean and phalate free, It has limonene but if you’re allergic you should keep that in mind.
