The name “La Perouse” Skincare is inspired by the beautiful peninsula in Sydney’s Southeastern suburbs in Australia, named after a French navigator who landed there in 1788. This discovery signifies a blend of two cultures, inspiring our brand to focus on formulating products that combine the best ingredients and concepts of two cultures as well as cultural inclusivity.

I started La Perouse Skincare because I wanted to bring the natural wonders of this universe (unique to different countries) to quality science-backed skincare. Having lived in so many different countries my entire life, I went on this journey of learning about the most important things for inner and outer health.

And one of the most important is to anchor yourself in the present. La Perouse Skincare is dedicated to making products with intentional formulations that simplify your life and slow the inevitable — such as aging or future skin issues from today's stresses or skin problems (like acne). We start from traditionally efficacious ingredients and innovate with new science-backed ingredients in our formulations.

I have seen my mom struggle with the most sensitive skin (she struggles to even use most daily sunscreens!), which made her uncomfortable being in photos whenever her skin flared up.
